Terms of Business

In choosing to use the website of Martin Boyce Church antiques you agree to the following terms in part and as a whole.

You have chosen to purchase an antique item as photographed and described. You accept that an antique item may have marks, signs of use, historical repairs and other issues that means that it is not an ‘as new item’. In doing so you agree to accept that the item you have chosen to purchase is not expected to be perfect.

You accept that dating a historical item is not a precise science and that that there may be an element of variation from the exact dates we may specify. For example we may attribute an item to circa 1790 when in fact the item may have been manufactured in circa 1780.

Church an ecclesiastical items have religions as well as historical significance and you agree to treat the item you purchase with due respect and diligence as such.

The following terms also apply to any item purchased:

  • The price displayed in our shop does NOT include delivery
  • Martin Boyce Church Antiques is not responsible for delays due to 3rd party couriers
  • Delivery/collection must be purchased/organised separately to an item purchase
  • Please ensure you have read and agree to the conditions within ourĀ Returns Policy
  • Please use the Enquiry Form on the Contact page to request a delivery estimate, if required

All sizes provided for any item are approximate and variation may also occur due to wood that expands and contracts due to environmental conditions.

Martin Boyce Church Antiques offers discounts periodically and only through its On Sale category.

All prices are offered only in GBP. Purchases may be made by the buyer via bank transfer or via the online payment system where we provide such a service. At all items we reserve the right to refuse a purchase for whatever reason of our choice.

All sales are offered within the laws of England and Wales and this jurisdiction shall apply in all cases.
